Black Eyed Beans and Chickpea Gravy

Chana Dal
Black Eyed Beans
Onions
Tomato
Ketchup
Turmeric powder
Kashmiri Chilli powder
Garam masala powder
cumin powder
coriander powder
salt and water

soak chana dal and black eyed beans together overnight. pressure cook the dals till cooked.meanwhile saute onions well,add half tomato,a tblsp of ketchup,turmeric powder,chilli powder, garam masala,a tblsp of coriander powder and cumin powder.add the cooked dal to the masala paste.add water if gravy is too thick.let it simmer under low fire.add salt and sprinkle chopped cilantro.black eyed beans and channa masala is ready to be served.goes well with puris or roast dosa.
